Letchmore Infants' and Nursery School use the 'Twinkl' phonics scheme which is a synthetic phonics teaching programme that has been validated by the DFES.
Children are taught to read using a range of books that follow the same order of letters as 'Twinkl' to ensure fidelity throughout.
At Letchmore Infants' we do not follow one specific reading scheme, but ensure that the reading books match the phonic level being taught.
