Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) contact parents directly during the school year in which a child becomes four, enclosing an information booklet. Parents apply for reception places on line through Hertfordshire County Council Admissions. Places are allocated by Hertfordshire County Council.

We currently have spaces available in Reception. Please contact us on 01438 234400 if you are interested in joining this year group.
If a decision is made to apply for the school, in year applications have to be made through Hertfordshire County Council. Please see a link below to the website.

Reception Admission Dates 2024/2025
3 November 2025 - Hertfordshire County Council online system opens for you to apply online.
15 January 2026 - Deadline to apply for a school place.
16 April 2025 - National allocation day.
Herts County Council will email you the school you've been allocated, if you applied online and confirmed your email address. The online allocation system will be updated with allocations and be available only after allocation emails have been sent.
If you applied on paper, we will send you a notification letter and response form by first class post.
