Star Gazing Evening- Year 2
On Tuesday we held our Stargazing evening which was amazing and we would like to thank you for supporting and attending. The children were so excited to take part and it was a lovely fun evening.
The children worked hard to make the rock cakes that we had and we would like to thank you all for your kind donations. We raised an amazing £146.67 from the event to go towards space topic enhancements. This was also a lovely learning opportunity for the children to use their knowledge to recognise and match coins as we are working on money in maths at the moment.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your generous Amazon gifts this year which included the three telescopes we were using. They added to the wonderful experience for the children and it was great for them to be able to look up and see the sky so closely.
