Year 2 Inspirational Day- Great Fire of London
The children had lots of fun on their Great Fire of London Inspirational day this week!' To start they took part in a 'live cooking' lesson and wrote a set of instructions while their teacher made bread, at the end of the day the children ate some of the bread and had some milkshake too.
The children also enjoyed practicing their writing using a quill and ink as people would have done in 1666.
They loved taking their houses outside and creating a large street scene, and making boats for the River Thames, and carts to help people transport their goods to safety away from the fire!
