  • Recycling Guide

    Mr Green has created a new recycling guide.  The students were asked to design mascots to distinguish each bin type around the school.  We think they done an amazing job!  Well done to-

    • Summer in Greenfinch for creating both the hard plastics and paper monster
    • Matthew in Wren for his soft plastics monster

    We look forward to seeing these around school and the difference they will make!

  • Year 2 Great Fire of London Street Display

    Year 2 have been learning about the events of the Great Fire of London.  The children have loved building their replica houses and creating a wonderful recreation of the street of London during the fire.  This has been displayed in the school for the students to enjoy.  

  • Reception 'Super-Heroes' Inspirational day- 10th February 2022

    The children have loved their Super-hero inspirational day. They talked about the characters/real life heroes they had come to school as, had super-hero stories and sang super-hero songs. 

     

    In the afternoon they all enjoyed a Super-hero party where we danced to Super- hero songs and enjoyed a Super-hero feast.

  • Year 1 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' Inspirational Day- Wednesday 9th February

    This week Year 1 had their ‘Airport’ Inspirational Day, Leaving on a Jet plane

     

    To start the day, the children enjoyed making their own passport, luggage labels and boarding passes.  They were then ‘checked in’ and had to find their own numbered seat on the ‘aeroplane’.  They enjoyed the take-off and landing video’s as well as the in-flight entertainment, which included biscuits from the ‘flight crew.’ 

  • Trim Trail

    The new trim trail is now complete on the school field.  The children have already been out and given it a test run and had a wonderful time trying to make it all the way across.  We're sure the children will love using this throughout the year to enrich their outdoor learning experiences.
