This week at Letchmore Infants' & Nursery School-
Well done to all the children in Nursery for taking part in the Nursery sports day activities. The children showed their physical skills and enjoyed being pirates for the day. Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us it was lovely to be able to invite you in.
The children in Reception had lots of fun at their Ugly Bug Ball inspirational day. They made ladybirds, crested insects, drew insects, played bug related maths and literacy games and went on mini-beasts hunts on the field. In the afternoon they all did a Mini-beast parade and danced. They finished the day with a Mini-beast feast.
This week the Reception classes kicked off our run of summer performances with ‘In the Garden’. The children were amazing and gave such a beautiful performance for the parents, who along with our staff, were incredibly proud and overwhelmed by what they had achieved.
This week the children took part in a wide range of jubilee activities celebrating the Queen’s 70th Jubilee. They have enjoyed a Jubilee lunch, plate painting workshop, crown, bunting and mat making and finally the big Letchmore street party on Friday!
