  • Year 1 Inspirational Day- Leaving on a Jet Plane

    Mon 30 Jan 2023

Year One had a fantastic inspirational day yesterday. The children arrived at school with their suitcases ready to begin their trip around the world. Once they had decided what to pack and created their passports they were ready to collect their bags and head through passport control.

There was great excitement as they boarded the plane and after a short safety video it was time for take-off.  The children enjoyed some inflight entertainment and a snack before coming in to land.

Our first stop on our trip is Scotland as we learn more about the countries in the United Kingdom. We are looking forward to visiting lots of countries over the next half term.

  • Safer Internet Day- Tuesday 7 February

    Mon 30 Jan 2023

Tuesday 7 February was Safer Internet day.  This year’s theme was ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’.  Safer Internet Day is a global campaign to promote the safe and responsible use of technology, which calls on children and young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policymakers and more, to help to create a better internet. Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote in school, and celebrating Safer Internet Day is a great opportunity for us to re-emphasise the online safety messages we deliver throughout the year. We would be delighted if you could join us by continuing the conversation at home.
